Meshs are normally specified in count/inch or count/cm. They are chosen to allow a desired amount/size of 'filtrate' through, thus deciding the mesh count and its subsequent parameters. Deciding the mesh for an applications is where true value engineering comes to play.

Forms: Meshes are normally made to size ready to install thus making it convenient for the end user. Our fabrics are used in many ways but widely used as Dandy covers / Mould covers, on Pulp mill applications such as thickeners, washers, ETP, Hill screens, Deinking etc. They are used as Diagonal seamed fabrics or open ended roll form. This would depend on the product being manufactured and the sophistication of one's machine.

Phosphor Bronze Mesh

Primarily used for the Security paper and bank note manufacturing process, these special meshes are unique. Anyone can appreciate the quality and sophistication of a currency note and thus can imagine that the mesh needs to match that level of sophistication. The embossing of the currency features happen on the mesh and our products are well established in multiple mills making some of the most complex and delicate emboss prints.

Special Heat treatment - Annealing

Some meshes can also be supplied with special heat treatments for better formidability and embossing needs. This process 'de-stresses' the fabric to able to withstand higher embossing pressure thus retaining its shape during the cover making process. This is a specialty of WMW and we are one of the few in the world who can heat treat mesh. This is a result of years of research and trials which has enabled us to give consistent, high quality annealed fabrics.

Wire to wire is individually welded with utmost precision, decades old experience and new age techniques. We undertake heavy designing and testing of our seams to ensure they remain intact and secure. These seam types are selected based on application & process needs. Ultrasonic Cleaning

We are one of the few who can clean the mesh with ultrasonic technology to remove 99.87% of all oil and dirt. This ensures that the mesh is more conductive and clean which can be critical in some applications. Our process ensures no dirt or oil residue and no chemical trace on the fabric. This treatment is limited to our stainless steel range of meshes.
